Ella is a 55lb full size standard Poodle and Weatherby is a 26lb F1B GoldenDoodle.
Both Ella and Weatherby have genetic clearances through Embark genetic testing. Ella and Weatherby have OFA hip and elbow clearances. 5-Year Genetic Health Warranty
Health is a top priority for any new puppy parent, and at Golden Paw Puppies, I take this seriously. That’s why I offer a 5-year genetic health warranty with every puppy. This industry-leading guarantee reflects my confidence in my breeding practices and the care I take to ensure that each puppy begins life in the healthiest way possible.
With this warranty, you can rest assured knowing your puppy has been health-tested and comes from strong, healthy breeding lines. It’s my commitment to the quality and care that goes into every Goldendoodle I raise.
Health cleared dogs are a little more expensive when you purchase them, but they will likely save you hundreds or even thousands over the lifetime of your dog. They have OFA clearances on hips and elbows, and health cleared through Embark and do not carry any of the common genetic diseases that poodles or Golden Retrievers are susceptible to.
A Head Start on Potty Training
Bringing home a new puppy can be daunting, especially regarding house training. The good news is that at Golden Paw Puppies, we start the potty training process for you. From an early age, I teach the puppies to relieve themselves outside or on puppy pads, giving them a head start before they even enter your home.
This proactive approach results in less stress for you and makes the transition easier for your new puppy. While you’ll need to continue reinforcing the training, many families appreciate knowing that the foundational work has already been laid. It’s all part of my preparation to help the puppies thrive in their new environments.
Personality Testing for the Perfect Match
Golden Paw Puppies stands out because of the care I take in matching each puppy with the right family. I understand that each puppy has a unique personality, just like people do, and what works for one family may not suit another. That’s why I conduct personality testing for all my Goldendoodle puppies.
Whether you’re an active family looking for a lively companion or prefer a calmer dog, I make it a priority to understand each puppy’s temperament. By the time they’re ready to go home, I can provide thoughtful recommendations about which puppy will align best with your family. This thoughtful matching leads to a happier puppy and a smoother transition for everyone involved.
When the pups are close to 7 weeks old we put them each through 8 personality tests that result in them getting a score which reveals their personality. Personality Matching involves you completing an Owner Questionnaire so we can be sure your puppies temperament suits you well. This allows us to match owners with their best fit puppy and ensures that inexperienced owners or those with very small children don’t end up with boisterous, high-energy dogs. We don’t do just blind puppy matches at this point, but of course we do try to honor your puppy of choice.
Our Golden Doodle Puppies are Crate Trained
Crates can serve as a valuable tool for new puppy owners. They offer a safe, cozy space for puppies to rest and assist with potty training, in addition to providing a quiet retreat when needed.
At Golden Paw Puppies, I introduce crate training early on, so puppies are familiar with it when they join your family.
This early exposure helps prevent crate anxiety, allowing your puppy to view it as a positive, comforting space. By the time they arrive at your home, your puppy will be ready to settle down peacefully at night, making the initial weeks easier for both of you.
First Grooming Session for a Smooth Start
Goldendoodles require regular grooming due to their beautiful coats, so I ensure every puppy from Golden Paw Puppies has their first grooming session before going to their new homes. This session includes a wash, nail trim, and gentle handling to acclimate them to the grooming process.
Introducing puppies to grooming early on helps reduce anxiety during future appointments. By the time your puppy arrives, they will have already had a positive experience with bathing and brushing, making subsequent visits to the groomer much easier.
We do weekly nail trims, occasional in house baths, and exposure to full grooming by our groomer, with a complete bath and trim prior to going home.
Lifetime Training and Support
My dedication to you and your puppy doesn’t end when they leave my home. At Golden Paw Puppies, I provide continuous support throughout your puppy’s life. Whether you need advice on training, feeding, or have a quick question about puppy care, I’m always here to help. I also offer lifetime access to online training resources to equip you with the tools and knowledge necessary as your puppy grows.
You also get complementary membership of Baxter and Bella’s training support. This means they will guide you through early training and also be available to speak with you in person at any time in your puppy’s life you need training support.
We begin behavior training, with sit, spot, stay and come.
We work on noise desensitizing with daily noises, fireworks, vacuums and door bells.
Golden Doodle Puppies Raised with Kids in a Family Environment
One of the key points I emphasize to prospective puppy owners is that all of our puppies are raised in our family home. Growing up in a nurturing and active environment makes a remarkable difference. My Goldendoodle puppies are exposed to the daily sounds, sights, and interactions of family life. From the clatter of dishes to the evening TV noise, they become accustomed to everything they will encounter in your household.
By the time they are ready to join your family, these puppies are well-adjusted to everyday noises, ensuring a smoother transition for everyone involved. Additionally, being surrounded by people from a young age means they are socialized right from the start. You can be confident that your new puppy will be friendly, adaptable, and eager to fit into your family dynamic.
They are raised right with us 24/7, raised with kids and other dogs.
Early Neurological Stimulation
We put them through a series of specific types of touch daily using well researched strategies such as ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation), ESI (Early Scent Introduction) and noise exposure from day-three on: to make them comfortable, less anxious and more resilient pups. Puppy socialization starts with the breeder with early neurological stimulation.

About Goldendoodles
Goldendoodles are social, loving and cuddly companions, willing to lay down and relax with you. They are also high energy, highly intelligent dog requiring daily exercise and proper mental stimulation to prevent them from finding their own entertainment. Personality varies from individual to individual (which is why we test them!). Because of their intelligence they are easy to train and are often recommended for first time dog owners. Goldendoodles tend to get along with everyone and other pets due to their affectionate nature. Early and frequent socialization is critical to nurture their sweet personalities. We recommend using positive reinforcement training for best results.
